How Shambala kids Meditations CDs started |
|
As a clinical hypnotist, my husband asked when we could start using hypnosis with our boys. While normal clincial hypnosis will not  work until the child is 6-7, guided meditations such as the one on these CDs will allow your child to experience safe hypnosis/meditation and learn spiritual values while drifting off to sleep. My boys love to listen to soft music, stories and these Cds as they drift off to sleep. I'm careful about what I let them listen to (and watch) because in these states (going to sleep and watching TV) they are in a natural state of hypnosis. ShambalaKids Cds are ideal because it seems they listen better to the CDs than if I am in the room doing a guided meditation with them (this is due to their young age too).
After suggestions from my husband, reoccuring thoughts about creating spiritual based meditations Cds and then various (and many) other people the Universe sent to encourage me, I decided to start this line of Cds. I have entitled them ShambalaKids Meditations. Shambala means "The Place where Heaven meets Earth".
Children are naturally loving and as we teach them to use their own spiritual power and recognize the love they are, we create a better world, for today and tomorrow. Think of all the time it took YOU to recognize your own spiritual power. Now your children have you to learn from at a young age and these Cds will simply prove to be more positive reinforcement for what they are already learning. I also highly recommend Unity Church which is a practical spirituality church that teaches many of the principles in these Cds including how we create our reality with our thoughts, that we are naturally good because God's Divinity is within us, by living our truth we make a difference and more! They have an excellent children's program and although we are not members we have started attending regularly. I am not afraid that they will ever teach my children to live in fear of God, I know they will not. You can also purchase their children's curriculum online and this is a wonderful resource after school or for homeschooling. It adds something that most of us have been searching for, for a long time!
I find the best time to listen to these Cds is before bed as children are naturally calm. This can however be used during the day with older children (9-10) for quiet time.
With each Cd you will find the basis of content. I do however suggest listening to the CD yourself first. This way, you rest assured that the CD upholds your personal beliefs.
