   Recommended ages 5-12   The first journey called "One with the Universe" helps your child release stress and to calm herself (or himself)  instantly. It's very helpful for children who have anxieties. Recommended ages 6-12 This Cd includes two meditations. After counting down to totally relaxation, the first meditation teaches children all about the Angels: What Angels are, how they help us, why they love us, how and why to talk to them, how to hear them and more! This Cd is composed of two meditations:

1. Physical/Mental:  Children are led through a complete progressive relaxation. This meditation then focuses on memory, concentration, focus, self esteem, success at school and positive visualizations of self. They are then encouraged to let go of frustration and negativity that sometimes comes from negative self-talk. Your child will be taught a grounding technique for times when quiet and calm is needed and to use the cue word of “calm” to ground themselves and let go of excess energy. Children are encouraged to let their light shine bright and integrate their busy minds fully with their body.    

2. Emotional Intelligence: After complete relaxation, children are given reinforcement of suggestions in first meditation and then to pay close attention to other people’s responses and emotions. ADHD children (or children who show characteristics of ADHD) are often  spontaneous and they often neglect to take social cues from their environment. They are given suggestions to pay close attention to what others say and feel, and notice when people around them are feeling comfortable and when they are not.  They are encouraged to listen with their heart, to be thoughtful and also take cues from others’ body language and actions. They are guided to look at others for good and appropriate examples while being discriminate as to how they choose to act. Children are reminded that good friends are made and kept by paying close attention to others and to think about result of their actions and making sure it’s good and kind for everyone.      During my practice as a clinical hypnotist, my husband used to ask me when we could start using hypnosis with our sons. While normal clincial hypnosis sometimes proves difficult to use with children until the ages of 6 or 7, guided imagery meditations such as those found on ShambalaKids CDs allow children to experience an environment of safe, focused concentration and learn spiritual values while drifting off to sleep with ease. My boys love to listen to the soft music and stories on these Cds as they drift off to dreamland. I'm careful about what I let them listen to (and watch) because in these states, going to sleep and watching TV, they are in a natural state of hypnosis. ShambalaKids Cds are ideal because they allow children the quiet space and comfort they need to listen and focus well. Children feel engaged and follow the stories and imagery in the CDs while being led to relax and enjoy the peaceful moments at the same time.

After suggestions from my husband, reoccuring thoughts about creating spiritual based Cds and then various (and many) other people the Universe sent to encourage me, I began this line of Cds. I have entitled them ShambalaKids Meditations. Shambala means "The Place where Heaven meets Earth".  

   Children are naturally loving and as we teach them to use their own spiritual power and recognize the love and beauty they are, we create a better world, for today and tomorrow. Think of all the time it took YOU to recognize your own spiritual power. Now your children have you to learn from at a young age and these Cds will simply prove to be more positive reinforcement for what they are already learning. These CDs help teach children the principles of how we create our reality with our thoughts, that we are naturally good because God's Divinity is within us, and by living our truth we make a difference. The Cds also equip them with tools to deal with difficult situations and stress. Shambala Kid's mission is truly to elevate the spiritual and emotional well-being of children everywhere! I find the best time to listen to these Cds is before bed as children are naturally calming down from the busy day. They can also be used during the day for quiet time and rest.

With each Cd listed, you will find the basic description of content. I do however suggest listening to the CD yourself first. This way, you rest assured that the CD upholds your personal beliefs. I find that the morning after the children listen to the Cds (even many times after the initial hearing), they will ask you about the things they learned and even repeat to brothers and sisters how for example, "the thoughts we think affect the life we live".  As my own children grow and continue to listen to "Mommy's Cds", they continue to learn and integrate the spiritual ideas taught in the Cds. This gives me so much hope that our future, led by spiritually conscious children turned adults, definately looks bright!
